여가활동과 기상·기후간의 관계분석: 등산활동을 중심으로

This study analyzed the correlation between weather and the number of national park visitors using data about the number of daily visitors of Bukhansan National Park and Hallasan National Park collected from January 1st to December 31st 2013 and meteorological observation data provided by the the Meteorological Administration. Although Bukhansan National Park showed no big differences in the distribution of visitors depending on the season, there was the highest distribution in the fall(31%) and the lowest distribution in the winter(19%). Visitors were concentrated the most in October and the distribution of visitors was higher on weekends than on weekdays. Likewise, Hallasan National Park showed no big differences in the distribution of visitors depending on the season. There was the biggest distribution in the fall(28%) and the lowest distribution in the spring(21%). Visitors were concentrated the most in October and the distribution was higher on weekends than on holidays. The correlation between weather and the number of national park visitors varied depending on the characteristics of national parks, but it showed significant differences depending on the hours of sunshine and there was a negative correlation among the rainfall, cloud cover and clouds. Mountain climbing is a Sport for All to do outdoors, so visitors tended to be concentrated when it was a clear day rather than when it was a rainy day. In Bukhansan National Park, there were significant differences depending on the temperature and in Hallasan National Park, there were significant differences depending on the fine dust. Since Bukhansan National Park is located in the northernmost end and there is a little daily temperature range, visitors preferred warm days. In Jeju Island, climbing activities including tourism are performed outdoors for long hours, so visitors tended to be concentrated when there wasn't much fine dust.
