한국판 대학생의 미래지향시간관 척도(K-FTPS) 타당화

초록

The aim of this study was to validate the Korean version of the Future Time Perspective Scale (K-FTPS) for university students in Korea. Five hundred and fifty-five university students in Seoul, Korea participated in this study. The confirmatory factor analysis confirmed that the K-FTPS consisted of four factors(i.e., value, connectedness, extension, and speed) with 26 items in satisfactory model fit indices. In addition, the configural and metric invariances of the K-FTPS held irrespective of gender. Moreover, the results of criterion-related validity showed that all factors of the K-FTPS were positively related to future orientation and vision/sense of destiny, and all except the “value” factor positively predicted career adaptability. Overall, the results supported the validity of the K-FTPS. Therefore, it is expected that the K-FTPS will be a useful instrument to measure the future time perspective for university students in the education field.
