빅데이터(Big Data) 시대의 소셜 네트워크 분석(Social Network Analysis)기법과 스포츠 분야의 활용전략

초록

Social Network Analysis was first introduced in Korea during 1980's and has been used in many studies as the tool to identify the properties of the human networks. Since then, many researchers in Korea and other countries adjusted and upgraded the social network analysis method, which is gaining more and more attention as the advance of Bid Data concept and the need for an advanced technology to analyze the characteristics of data of large volume and high variety. As such, the ever-evolving social network analysis technology has been adopted by the academic field and utilized in a variety of applications, while the discipline of sports still repeats the previous methodology. There have been several study attempts, where knowledge maps are established and the game analysis, such as the path connection networks, was used. However, it is still necessary to improve the qualitative level of the sports researchers by more widely introducing such analytical methods and apply/develop analytical techniques that reflect the characteristics of the sports science.
