초록
The purpose of this study is to investigate how different athletes' self-management very according to sex, event, and level. To measure it, ASMQs were distributed to 433 athletes in 28 events. One-way Manova was used to document the differences by each group, and Univariate Test and Discriminant Analysis was used for a Post-Hoc Test. Male athletes significantly had higher levels of mental readiness than females. Team competition and contact events indicated a higher level of training management and interpersonal relationship than individual events. College and professional athletes had higher score in Physical Conditioning than high-school athletes, while high-school and professional team scored higher in Interpersonal relationship than college teams. As the result of Discriminant analysis, the mental management had a difference between male and female, and the training management was a discriminant factor among individual, team, and contact art events. In addition, the physical conditioning had a significant effect on discriminating high-school, college, and professional athletes. These results were discussed with various precedent researches.
