갈등 프레임이 갈등관리 방안에 대한 선호에 미치는 영향: 원자력 정책을 중심으로

By identifying disputants' conflict frames and analyzing how those frames affect their conflict management preferences, policy conflicts can be understood and further be managed successfully. Drawing on conflict frame theories, this study investigated empirically the effects of conflict frames on conflict management preferences. For this, it collected the data through a survey of residents who live near the Kori and Ulzin nuclear power plants. The results indicated that local residents' preferences on conflict management strategies such as communication, collective action, passive avoidance, adjudication, and the acceptance of government authority were very diverse and showed wide variations. In addition, many conflict frames affected their conflict management preferences, but the relative influence of each frame was varied for each strategy. The policy implications of the results were also discussed.
