예술창작활동에 따른 대학생의 창의적 자기효능감 차이와 변화 연구: 성별과 소속을 중심으로
초록
This study investigated differences in university students’ creative self-efficacy by gender and major to evaluate the educational efforts applied to increase their positivity. The general mandatory course Action, Communication, Teamwork (A.C.T.) from C University of Seoul is a student-centered class that applies art-based learning materials. During A.C.T. classes, students participate in artistic and creative activities in teams. Through the process, it was revealed that students enrolled in such classes improved their creative self-efficacy. The study investigated 812 students from 22 classes to survey changes by individual characteristics. Three trends were identified. First, there was a difference in creative self-efficacy by gender: male students had higher scores than female students in both pretests and posttests. Second, the College of Arts had the highest levels of creative self-efficacy. Third, the greatest differences in creative self-efficacy levels were found in Business and Economics majors, followed by Social Sciences, Arts, and Engineering majors. Interestingly, majors with the greatest differences in creative self-efficacy scores were not limited to those with higher pretest scores. The results of the study are provided with the aim of contributing to further development in creativity education.
