李庸岳의 시의식과 詩作의 기법에 대한 고찰
초록
The purpose of this paper is to examine the essence of poet Lee Yong-ak’s poetic consciousness and his approaches to initiating his compositions. Lee Yong-ak’s poetic consciousness is rooted in his autobiographical experiences, particularly his family’s tragic history. Based on this poetic consciousness, he vividly portrayed the tragic realities faced by immigrants at the time. His initiation technique is the harmony and fusion of lyricism and narrative styles. His poetry is deemed to have attained a high level of poetic achievement through the intentional incorporation of techniques from the typical narrative style based on traditional lyricism. Lee Yong-ak’s technique of initiation finds its strength in the harmony and synergy of lyricism and narrative style. In particular, his incorporation of both “telling” and “showing” techniques within the narrative style imparts objectivity to his work, preventing his emotions from lingering at a personal level, and instead expressing them in a contemporary manner. This enabled dissemination of a universal social and historical sentiment reflective of reality. This technique of initiation is his core creative principle and poetic device. In summary, the core of poet Lee Yong-ak creative philosophy lies in the pursuit of harmony and fusion between lyric and narrative styles. He actively introduced narrative styles that liberated him from the limitations of traditional lyricism, positioning him as a poet who portrayed the tragic realities of the lives of Joseon immigrants more keenly than his contemporaries.
