The purpose of this study is to compare Unshimghe Dances of Gyeongsang and North Jeolla Provinces in order to identify the differences between them. Their local cultural characteristics are presented in terms of music and movements.Mt. Bulmo Unshimghe Dance in Gyeongsang Province and Unshimghe Dance in North Jeolla Province differ in terms of music form and composition of movements, because of the difference in general composition methods. Musically, Unshim offering mantra of both provinces are recited by Rev. Uhjang. However, Gyeongsang Province focus more on the music and North Jeolla Province focuses on gong rhythm and oral sound. In addition, in terms of movement, general images of the two dances are different even though shape, aesthetic elements, and meaning are quite similar. Mt. Bulmo Unshimghe Dance in Gyeongsang Province is rather simple and lofty and North Jeolla Province's Unshimghe Dance is supple, tender, and cheerful, with more folk elements.As a result of this study, it is identified that Unshimghe Dances of the two regions originated from one root but passed down in different forms and compositions that are performed today, because of geographical differences and different cultural traits.
