청소년방과후아카데미의 연구동향 분석: 키워드 네트워크 분석을 중심으로

This study aims to identify research trends and seek future research tasks in after-school academy using descriptive statistical and keyword network analyses. For this purpose, 105 publications between 2005-2021 and 134 keywords were selected for the analysis. A descriptive statistics analysis centered on research statuses and a keyword network analysis centered on the frequency of keyword co-occurrence were conducted. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the number of studies, the types of studies, and the publishing organization. Keyword network analysis served to analyze the frequency, centrality, presence of structural holes, and the sub-community. The findings show that six studies were published annually on average, most frequently in the form of master's theses, academic journal articles, and doctoral theses, in that order mainly from the social sciences and social welfare fields. Published research on average had five keywords per publication, of which 107(79.9%) keywords were used three times or less. Program process and low-income youth ranked high in the analysis results of the centrality and frequency of appearance. After-school care service appeared as a structural hole keyword with a large effect size, low aggregate constraint level, low hierarchy, and low centrality. The sub-community analysis revealed that research focused on around after-school care services (G1), low-income youth (G2), programs (G3), community child care centers (G4), and after-school activities (G5). The following future work is discussed based on the results: (i) expansion of individual research and interdisciplinary research, (ii) balanced research considering each policy target, (iii) establishing a role as a comprehensive youth service and conducting research from the perspective of youth welfare policy, (iv) the need to diversify effectiveness research topics.
