초록
Since unemployment of college graduates has become a critical issue in Korea, this study focused on the effects of career education and employment support programs on university students' career self-efficacy and employability. In order to achieve its goal, the study selected 416 students in four universities, and analyzed the impact of variables such as personal features, employment preparation characteristics, educational satisfaction, and the participation in career education and employment support programs. Study findings are as follows:First, individual variables that had statistically significant effects upon university students' career self-efficacy were in order of school years, employment preparation, major-job match, GPA, and job search engine(homepage). Except for the students' school years, all of them had positive effect upon career self-efficacy. Second, individual variables that had statistically significant effects upon university students' employability were in order of employment preparation, major-job match, career development curricula, school years, GPA, job search engine(homepage), and job experience in the expected area of employment. School years and career development curricula had negative effect upon employability, whereas other variables had positive effect upon it. Practical implications and follow-up studies in the future were suggested.
