서정주 초기 시에 나타난 감정어의 활용과 그 의미 - 『화사집(花蛇集)』을 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the poetic consciousness of Seo Jung-ju(徐廷柱) in his early poems with a focus on the ways that he used emotion words. The study then examined the ways that shyness, grief, sorrow, and laughter, the emotion words of high frequency, were used in his early poems, Hwasajip(花蛇集) and also their meanings. The subjects and objects of shyness were depicted vaguely, and the meanings of shyness, which include shame and bashfulness, were used in a dual fashion, which predicts the poet's ambiguous attitude toward reality. Grief and sorrow were the emotion words of overwhelming presence in his poems. While grief was embodied as a cursed body, sorrow was painted in red color senses. Those emotion words were contributing to the arousal of intense images. Laughter is the most characteristic for it being accompanied by sound or beasts. The emotion of laughter made a contribution to the formation of animal primitiveness.
