성인웹툰이 20~30대 이용자의 성 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of webtoon users' demographic characteristics, psychologica lcharacteristics, and webtoon usage characteristics on adult webtoon usage, and the effects of adult webtoon usage on sexual attitudes. A survey was conducted among 320 young adults in their 20s and 30s who had used webtoons. The results showed that, first, among demographic attributes, the higher the education level, the lower the usage of adult webtoons, and among psychological characteristics variables, the higher the sensation-seeking orientation for thrill and adventure, the higher the usage of adult webtoons. Second, among webtoon usage motivations, the higher the motivation to enjoy fun/mood diversion and various genre characteristics of webtoons, the higher the usage of adult webtoons, and the higher the satisfaction of adult webtoons, the higher the usage of adult webtoons. Third, among the sub-genres of webtoons, the more the romance fantasy genre is used, the higher the usage of adult webtoons, and the more exposed to adult webtoon advertisements, the higher the usage of adult webtoons. Fourth, it was found that the higher the amount of adult webtoon usage, the higher the undesirable sexual attitudes, gender constructions, and sexual acceptance attitudes. These findings suggest that text and image-based adult webtoons can have the same negative effects on users' sexual attitudes as sexual content presented in video form.
