초록
Interactive media art is completed with the contributions of the audience. It widens the role of the audience from simply an acceptor to an enthusiastic contributor. The artist has to be able to stimulate the senses and attract the interest of the audience. It should not simply end as curiosity but lead to a contribution through different components that bring about the audience’s interest. People’s bodies accept bodily experiences with senses and express combinations of inner thoughts and emotions outside the body to communicate with others. The human body itself is a complex aggregation of various senses and is mutual at the same time. Thus, people and the human body are suitable for interactive art, which places emphasis on mutual interaction and empathetic absorption. The artist should understand environments in which interaction can bring out the interest of audiences with preliminary research done on the human body. This paper focuses on “Touch” to study the information stated above. Touch is interactive equipment that uses the heartbeat between piece and the audience to interact via the message of ‘starting life’ with light and sound. The audience can see and feel their heartbeats and are thus strongly immersed. In addition, a simple interface and ergonomic design are included for the audience’s convenient use. Although the audience cannot recognize the piece, the sound effects and ahologram similar to facialexpressions are installed to attract their attention. When planning and designing “Touch’, we will introduce the technology behind the equipment to attract the attention of audiences and provide information about the process of realization. Furthermore, the specialties of media art and various types of knowledge of the human body are included.
