한국어 학습자의 동기, 태도, 소셜미디어 사용과 언어학습 전략 간의 상관관계 분석 -프랑스 고등학교 한국어 학습자를 중심으로-

The purpose of this research is to widen the general understanding on Korean language learners in French high schools and find a method that can be applied to Korean language class by analyzing correlations between learners" motivation, attitude, social media use, and language learning strategies. In order to analyze these learner-related variables, a survey was carried out to 73 high school students in Paris and Bordeaux in France. And for the data, SPSS Version 23 was used to perform descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and correlations. It was revealed that the students had stronger intrinsic motivation than extrinsic motivation, also higher integrative motivation than instrumental motivation. Frequencies of language learning strategy use showed that metacognitive strategies were used most frequently, followed by social strategies, cognitive strategies, memory strategies, compensation strategies, and affective strategies. Specially, integrative motivation had significant positive correlations with all kinds of strategies. Students with positive attitude toward Korean language, active attitude during the class and active attitude toward self study had significant positive correlations with learning strategies. Learners who used more Korean in their social media had significant positive correlations with all kinds of strategies. The result showed that Korean learners in French high schools used more language leaning strategies when they had stronger integrative motivation, positive attitude toward Korean language, active attitude in learning Korean inside and outside of the classroom, and when used more Korean in their social media activities.
