미디어를 통해 본 의제설정 효과(Agenda-Setting Effect): 2000년대 한국 전쟁영화를 중심으로

초록

This study aims to explore the role of agenda setting in film dealing with Korean War and Unification. Security and unification issues have been important subject of the authoritarian government so that the government tended to seek assistance from media, in particular anti-communism films. Under the authoritarian regime, war films played an important role on shaping publicopinion. Comparing the authoritarian regime, contemporary war films provide different agenda regarding North Korea and Unification. In this research, the agenda setting effect of media is not limited within broadcasting media ornewspaper. Rather, the effect of agenda setting of media is expanded to filmmedia shaping public opinion.
