클라이언트 폭력과 직무스트레스 간의 관계에 관한 연구 - 장애인 복지시설과 비장애인 복지시설 종사자간 비교 -

초록

This paper examines the relationship of client violence experience to job performance of workers for the people with disabilities and provides an alternative. After surveying 171 social service workers' experiences of client violence, the job stress and relationship were compared and analyzed by dividing the employees of social service center for the people without disabilities and for the people with disabilities. The analysis showed that language violence experiences in both groups had a static relationship with job stress, and that the experience of verbal abuse by workers for the people without disabilities shows relatively low relevance compared to those with workers for the people without disabilities. These results can be judged that workers for the the people with disabilities are less likely to be exposed to violence more frequently, or to enhance their personal responses to mitigating job stress through relaxation. As an alternative, it proposed a community-level response system such as establishing a support center for victims of violence.
