외국인 학부생의 프레젠테이션 수업 사례 연구 - 학습자 중심 수업을 위한 수업 활동을 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the content and learner performance of classroom activities used in a presentation class for foreign undergraduate students. Effective presentation instruction requires a systematic explanation of key concepts and preparation procedures, along with sufficient opportunities for practical practice. Classroom activities play an important role by allowing instructors to check learners’ understanding and providing learners with repeated opportunities to practice. The classroom activities presented in this study included practicing speaking styles used in introductions, practicing stylistic features of presentations and visual materials, creating outlines, and activities for developing nonverbal communication skills. Based on the implementation of a learner-centered presentation class employing these activities, several implications were identified. First, learners should be given adequate time to complete the activities. Second, face-to-face feedback on presentations and PowerPoint (PPT) materials is necessary. Third, forms or frameworks should be provided to help learners carry out classroom activities in a purposeful manner. Fourth, the proportion and methods of evaluating classroom activity performance should be explained to learners in advance. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to the design and implementation of presentation classes by offering classroom activities that can be utilized for foreign undergraduate students. However, this study has limitations in that it did not quantitatively analyze the effectiveness of the classroom activities and did not examine learner errors that occurred during the activities.
