직장인 성인학습자의 학습특성이 학습성과에 미치는 영향과 일-삶의 균형의 매개효과

초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the correlations between adult learners’ characteristics, their work-life balance, and with their learning outcomes, and to verify the mediating effect of work-life balance between the variables. 302 adult learners who are currently working and participating educational institutions were selected as questionnaire survey participants. The result of the study shows that the characteristics of working adult learners had a positive effect on learning outcomes such as learner satisfaction, social networks and improvement in expertise, indicating that learner characteristics and learning outcomes are closely correlated. The study also confirmed that work-life balance had a mediating effect between characteristics of an adult learner and their learning outcomes . Academic bonding and academic efficacy had a positive effect on work-leisure balance and work-growth balance, while work-leisure balance and work-growth balance had a positive effect on learning outcomes. Result from the study indicates that it is important to develop a social atmosphere where work-life balance is encouraged so that adult learners with jobs can consistently participate in life-long learning.
