청소년의 내재적 가치 지향과 기본 심리적 욕구 충족, 미래 행복의 관계 구조 분석

초록

This research investigated the structural relationship among adolescents' intrinsic value orientation, basic psychological need satisfaction, and future subjective well-being in two longitudinal data set in Korea. Study 1 examined whether intrinsic values of interpersonal relationship and morality influence on the future subjective well-being through the fulfillment of basic psychological need. Study 2 examined whether intrinsic values of self-direction(autonomy and creativity), benevolence(honest and helpful), and universalism(justice, equality, and peace) have the same effect on the future subjective well-being. The results showed that the intrinsic value orientation had a direct effect on the basic psychological need satisfaction, and the basic psychological need satisfaction had a direct effect on the future subjective well-being. Moreover, adolescents' intrinsic value orientation had an indirect effect on future subjective well-being mediated by their psychological need satisfaction of relatedness and competence. These results indicate that the focus on intrinsic values and the fulfillment of basic psychological needs are important for Korean adolescents' subjective well-being
