초등학교 고학년 학생들의 학교태도에 영향을 미치는 가정의 심리적 환경 및 학교환경 특성

The influence of family process and school climate on school attitude of upper elementary students

초록

This study was to examine whether upper elementary students' family process and school climate influence their school attitude. Of the 684 upper elementary students surveyed from seven elementary schools in metropolitan cities, 468 completed and returned the questionnaires yielding a total response rate of 68.4%. The final sample consisted of 237 males(50.6%), 230 females(49.1%), and 1 unidentified student(0.2%). Their average age was 11.64 years. Measures of students' family process, school climate (i.e., interpersonal, imaginative, and instructional), and school attitude were obtained. Pearson's correlations indicated that students' school attitude was associated with family process and school climate. It was observed that there was a gender difference in school attitude. Females had more positive school attitude than males. Hierarchical multiple regression analyses showed that the 'imaginative context' scale and the 'instructional context' scale predicted the students' school attitude after controlling for gender and family process.
