지영희 무용음악 연구 -창작음악을 중심으로-

초록

This study aims to analyze the background and musical characteristics of <Puppet> and <A Dance Song that Mainly Focuses on the Pipe and the Gayageum>, which are creative music pieces and dance music pieces of Ji Yeong Hui. Studies on Ji Yeong Hui until now have mostly diachronically observed the lives of musicians and most are studies on his life history records from the year 1937 when his musical activity was most active until his death along with musical analysis studies. The artistic world of Ji Yeong Hui seen through previous studies affected not only folk music and the instrumental music field but also other various fields and in particular, he was active as an accompanying musician of the Han Seong Jun Music Dance Company and played a key role in dance music but because dance music at the time was mostly performed live, there is little documentation of his music, including record albums. Therefore, this study drew out the background and musical characteristics of <Puppet> and <A Dance Song that Mainly Focuses on the Pipe and the Gayageum> through examinations and analyses of the pieces, allowing the musical world of Ji Yeong Hui to be observed in depth. It is anticipated that through this, various forms of creative music that connote the identity of traditional art will be composed and that extensive research on composite art forms will be conducted.
