The purpose of this research paper is to develop a lecture model that applies 'revision' effectively in the 'writing' lecture held by the university. This paper established the lecture model based on senior scholars' research and it has actually been applied in the 'writing' lecture. This lecture model focused on the 3 main factors. First, revising in a repetitive manner is always advantageous in elevating students' writing level. Second, despite the fact that the method of peer revision is useful out of question, the difference in students' eagerness and ability might be problematic. Third, direct comment on the content and the structure is necessary. As a solution, methods such as selection of interesting topics, professor revision, peer revision and open revision are suggested. It is student's right to select the topic and plus they are required to select a topic that is "both interesting and that contains pros and cons." It not only lifted the level of the draft and peer revision but also made lively debate possible. Also, through selection of interesting topics and active motivation, the quality of peer revision has been enhanced and thus it enabled direct comments on contents and structure. The lecture model of the present writer follows the two big parts which are writing practice and objective knowledge. Writing practice goes through the following steps: "submitting assignments-> professor revision&peer revision-> open revision -> final draft" In writing practice, a student needs to revise over 3 times on one same topic; professor revision, peer revision and open revision follow supplementarily. A student receives total 4-5times of revision and through this revision does he experience improvement in writing skills. Visible improvement in writing ability makes the student to maintain enthusiasm in the class. Evaluation succeeded in eliminating subjective factors at the greatest extent and maintaining fairness. Objective evaluation prevented halfway dropouts and also became an important device in motivating even students with experiences in living abroad.
