토픽모델링과 소셜네트워크 분석을 활용한 10년간(2012-2021) 골프 뉴스트렌드 탐색

초록

[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to identify the trends of the 10 years (2012-2021) news related to golf, focusing on topic modeling and social network analysis techniques based on text mining. [Method] Golf news data was collected using Textom program, text mining for key word extraction using Net Miner 4.2 program, topic modeling for grouping by major issue, and social network analysis was used to derive visualization results. [Results] As a result of the analysis, in both the first period (2012-2015) and the second period (2016-2019), the issue of excellent results centered on Korean female golfers, Serikiz, and player development were drawn into their own topic groups. However, in the 3rd term (2020-2021), due to the sluggishness in the Olympics and LPGA events, a change in the issue for the same subject can be confirmed. In addition, the relationship between advanced IT technology and golf and the popularization process are penetrating the entire period. [Conclusion] It is possible to gain insight into how the media's perspective on golf-related issues changes according to the times, and this information is thought to be usefully used as evidence for the continuous positive development of the golf field.
