피아노 학원 경영자들이 생각하는 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors affecting the business performance of piano institute managers(n=100). First of all, the managers thought that the most important factor deciding successful business performance is net profit of institute. Regarding successful business performance, the managers of piano institute pointed out that the attitude of a piano teacher, educational resources, the satisfaction of students and parents were the most influential factors in business performance. In addition, according to the result of open-ended questions, a management capacity of the managers was the most important factors affecting business performance. In other words, the management skills and characteristics of managers leads to financial results in accordance with previous studies. Thus, managing operational capability of managers is expected to be successful institute management. The managers also indicated that marketing, competition with nearby institute, instructors management, communication with parents were the most problematic issues in their business performance. For the solutions to the problems, managers suggested that they need to educate piano teachers for the good attitudes toward parents and students, to improve management skills with personal development of the managers, and to revise current curriculum and systems in order to business performance.
