소비패턴 변화와 생활쓰레기 배출 전망

초록

The purpose of this research was to investigate the occurrence of waste of life depending on the change of consumption pattern and to forecast the total amount of waste of life by 2006. This research also investigated factors affecting the occurrence of waste of life through the analysis on the consumer attitudes and behaviors, and thus, discussed several efficient ways to change the consumption pattern in order to minimize the occurrence of waste of life by controlling such factors. The total amount of waste of life was forecasted as 35,667,000 tons in 2006, and it was forecasted that food waste and paper waste would account for larger quantity of total waste. Especially it was forecasted that the growth rate of food waste, paper waste, automobile waste, plastic and can waste would be greater than that of income and consumption expenditures. As effective methods to enhance the change of consumption pattern for the reduction of waste of life, conduct of evaluation of consumption pattern, improvement of social methods for environment-oriented consumption and intensification of economic methods were proposed.
