국가별 연구안보 서비스 사례에 관한 탐색적 연구

초록

Amid technological competition and geopolitical tensions, research security risks in universities and public research institutes are expanding across collaboration, data management, export control, foreign travel, and cybersecurity. In Korea, related support functions remain fragmented. This study maps public cases from Canada, the United States, and Japan into functional units of research security support services and compares their components and procedures. The findings show distinct patterns: Canada emphasizes due diligence and risk mitigation, the United States focuses on institutional programs and assessment tools, and Japan centers on export-control offices and transaction reviews. Based on these findings, this study presents a configuration approach for an integrated research security support service model applicable to Korean research institutions.
