공급체인 위험요인과 관계몰입, 신뢰, 사업성과 간의 관계 연구

초록

Global business today is witnessing the rapid development of process technologies resulting in a wide spectrum of new products and services, which underline the importance of business supply chains. However, negative global events such as rapid spread of SARS, terrorism, and hurricanes can seriously impact business supply chains. As the frequency of those damaging events increases, the degree of risk in supply chain management also increases. This study inquires into the relationships among the factors of risk management:risk assess in supply chain management, risk identification, commitment and trust with parter companies, and business performance in the supply chain. In studying these relationships, the authors conducted an empirical analysis using a structural equation model from survey responses of 138 companies. The research analysis findings show that if a company recognizes a weakness in its supply chain - from the manufacturing of products to the delivery of those products to the end-user - and the company establishes a process of assessing risk, it can enhance cooperation with partner companies and improve trust with its counterparts through sharing information, resources,and labor. This research study extends beyond preceding research on the topic,and it forwards useful information for companies seeking to create added value in their supply chains. A notable positive aspect of the study is its empirical analysis on risk management of business supply chains in advanced economies.
