청소년 축구선수들의 실패두려움과 인지된 경기력의 관계: 경쟁상태불안과 자기효능감의 이중매개효과
초록
The purpose of this study is to analyze the dual mediating effects of competition state anxiety and self-efficacy on the relationship between fear of failure and perceived performance and to explore the causal relationship between each variable. For this purpose, a self-report questionnaire survey was conducted among 326 middle school soccer players in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 28.0 and Amos 28.0 programs to test the structural equation model analysis and mediation effects, and bootstrapping tests were conducted to confirm the significance of the indirect effects of the mediators. First, it was found that fear of failure had a significant effect on competitive state anxiety and self-efficacy. Second, it was found that self-efficacy had a significant effect on perceived performance. Third, the full mediation effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between fear of failure and perceived performance was confirmed. The present study confirmed that fear of failure in youth soccer players is a variable that affects their competitive status anxiety and self-efficacy, and self-efficacy is an important parameter for performance. Reducing the intensity of failure fear and improving self-efficacy are important for youth soccer players to have a stable psychological state, and new strategies should be encouraged by coaches.
