초록
This study investigates the formative characteristics of core looks in Miu Miu collections through the theoretical framework of deconstruction, aiming to clarify the evolving structure of contemporary fashion styling. The research first examines the conceptual definitions of deconstruction and core look fashion and their interrelationship. Based on this theoretical foundation, the study analyzes the main components and visual features presented in Miu Miu collections. The findings reveal that diverse core look styles—such as balletcore, gorpcore, and Barbiecore—are expressed through the combination of functional and non-functional elements, luxury and mass aesthetics, as well as reality and fantasy. From the perspective of deconstruction, three key modes of expression were identified: subversion of codes, de-structuring of form, and coexistence of multiple identities. The subversion of codes appeared as a strategy that dismantles conventional fashion norms and hierarchies while embracing non-mainstream aesthetics. The de-structuring of form was realized through the reconfiguration of materiality, dismantling of formality, and fragmented composition, thereby creating asymmetrical and unpredictable silhouettes. The coexistence of multiple identities was manifested in the blending of heterogeneous styles, cross-media integration, and reorganization of relationships, producing a fluid and hybrid fashion aesthetic. These findings demonstrate that core looks function not merely as temporary trends but as creative strategies that expand the diversity of identity and aesthetics in contemporary fashion. This research contributes academic significance by linking deconstruction theory with the practical expressions of core look fashion, offering a theoretical foundation for subsequent studies on fashion discourse.
