청소년의 약물사용 경험과 신체 활동 및 건강 관련 행태와의 관련성 분석 : 제19차 청소년건강행태조사 원시 자료를 이용하여

초록

Early drug use during adolescence may lead to addiction and various health problems in adulthood, requiring public intervention. This study used data from the 19th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey to analyze the effects of chronic drug use on adolescents' physical and mental health and health-related behaviors. The study aims to provide baseline data to inform policy development to promote adolescent health. Results showed that female students and students with lower academic achievement and economic status, as well as those not living with a family, had higher drug use experience. These adolescents perceived their health negatively, had more experience with drinking and smoking, felt more stress, and had undesirable eating habits. They also showed negative trends related to generalized anxiety disorder. These findings suggest that adolescent substance use is associated with multiple risk factors. The study highlights the need for a comprehensive and integrated approach to address adolescents' social, psychological, physical, and behavioral problems simultaneously.
