프란츠 슈베르트의 <‘시든 꽃’ 주제에 의한 플루트와 피아노를 위한 변주곡> D.802 작품분석

초록
The purpose of this study is to analyze the musical characteristics and performance methods <Variations on “Trockne Blumen” for Piano and Flute> D.802 by Franz Schubert (1797-1828), and to help flutists and piano performers who want to play this work. To this end, this study examined Schubert’s life and compositional techniques, analyzed the musical characteristics of <Variations on ‘Trockne Blumen’ for Piano and Flute> D.802 and suggested tips for effective performance. As a result, this music was composed to express one introduction and seven free variations on the theme with slurs, staccato, embellishments, and accents to suit the characteristics of the flute. Also, it was analyzed as a work with a strong duet character, with the piano mainly taking charge of the melody variations, along with variations utilizing the flute’s gorgeous tone . In conclusion, in order to effectively perform <Variations on ‘Trockne Blumen’ for Piano and Flute > D.802, the changes in breathing and strength due to rapid changes in rhythm must be controlled by flute tonguing to preserve the tone expression of the flute while maintaining the sound that Schubert intended. In addition, it is very important to perform without neglecting the melody of the original song and the characteristics of the piano’s accompaniment.
