초록
The global trade environment is currently undergoing rapid changes, including digitalization, strengthened environmental regulations, and increased supply chain risks. This study examines the impact of external environmental response capabilities on export performance through the mediating role of trade contract flexibility, based on the dynamic capabilities theory. Additionally, it investigates the moderating effect of status quo bias, considering conservative characteristics. A total of 217 valid samples were collected from member companies of the Korea International Trade Association(KITA), Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and other organizations for empirical analysis. The results revealed that environmental regulation adaptation capability positively influenced export performance through trade contract flexibility, while status quo bias exhibited a negative moderating effect on the relationship between big data utilization capability and export performance. This study applies dynamic capability theory and cognitive biases to trade contract implementation and provides implications for enhancing contract response capabilities of export firms.
