도덕양심신념과 도덕양심수준의 관계

Moral conscience influences in moral decisions our everyday life. Therefore, it is a important issue in moral education and character education. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between moral conscience conviction and perceptions of moral conscience. The subjects of this study was 437 college students. The result showed that the moral conscience conviction influenced perceptions of moral conscience. Moral conscience conviction groups (including unsteadily conviction groups) was the higher mean scores of the perception of moral conscience than steadily conflict group in moral conscience conviction. However, steadily conviction group in moral conscience was not significantly difference in the mean scores of the perception of moral conscience for unsteadily conviction groups in moral conscience. Also, this study found that women got the higher mean score than men in the perceptions of moral conscience. Interaction effect of moral conscience conviction and gender showed similar result. This results showed statistically significant difference. This study found the similar results in the level of moral conscience conviction and the gender difference in the six dimensions of moral conscience. The findings suggest that moral conscience conviction can be used an evaluator of moral conscience, but can not be sure. Also, we need to develop moral conscience curriculum, based on self-directed learning in moral education with socio-cultural perspective. The gender difference of moral conscience need to study in the integrative views of emotional and cognitive moral education.
