프로 여자 배구선수의 기능적 움직임 평가(Functional Movement Screen) 점수에 따른 운동수행능력의 차이

Differences in Performance by Functional Movement Screen Score in Professional Female Volleyball Players

초록

This study aimed to compare the differences in exercise performance abilities (upper body strength, lower body strength, speed, agility, upper body muscular power, lower body muscular power) between two groups of professional female volleyball players divided based on their Functional Movement Screen (FMS) scores. Participants were categorized into high-score (FMS>14 points, n=13) and low-score (FMS≤14 points, n=8) groups, and Mann-Whitney U test was conducted to compare the two groups.. Higher functional movement screen scores were associated with better agility (p=.001) and lower body muscle power (p=.002), with significant differences in results, suggesting that functional movement screen scores are associated with important athletic performance in volleyball. This study suggests that volleyball players with the good movement have superior agility and lower body muscle power, which may affect their performance, and further research is needed to develop field tests and functional movement assessments tailored to various sports specificities to be used as training guidelines.
