도시지역권(City-Regions) 거버넌스 분석: 독일과 영국 사례

초록

This research analyzes the factors affecting the formation and development of different city-regions cases in Germany and the UK. The many central and local governments have attracted City-regions as regional development strategies. Since there is limited research on the effectiveness of city-regions in individual countries, this research investigates the facilitators for establishing and developing city-regions. In the case study of Germany and the UK, the research applies actors and level of decentralization in the formation of city-regions in each country. This study suggests that the growth of city-regions can be understood in multiple layers and the dynamics of participating cities. Also, the results show that the participating acotrs and level of decentralization influence the sustainability of the city-regions development.
