초록

This study examines post-listing control systems for pharmaceutical pricing and suggests a reasonableimprovement policy in Korea. There are four post-listing control systems for pharmaceutical pricing in Korean nationalhealth insurance. When each scheme was introduced, they had their own background and goals. But it is very difficult tounderstand and predict the timing and extent of the price cuts due to complex system by introducing or revising someschemes without clear policy objectives. At the same time, the social costs are often caused by various confusions, includingdistribution sites, due to frequent price cuts. For this reason, the current post-listing control system needs to be improved. We investigated the latest trends of the post-listing control system of the major countries that operate a similar systemthrough literatures, website, reports of relevant institutions. From a mid- to long-term point of view, the system should bethat can enhance the health of the population by comprehensively reflecting drug prescribing behavior and use status underclear target for drug expenditure management. It should also be developed as a system that can create a healthy industrialecosystem for the development of the pharmaceutical industry.
