축구 주말리그 도입 이후의 고등학교 학생선수 학습권 현황

초록

The purpose of the study is to understand the current status of study right among high school student-athletes in soccer. To accomplish the purpose of the study, data from 332 high school soccer players were collected based on convenience sampling in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. The ratio of class attendance and attitude toward classes were analyzed with repeated measures of ANOVA to understand the possible changes over time (1st year middle school to 3rd year high school). The results indicated that the number of classes that student-athletes were attending was decreasing from 1st year to 3rd year in middle school and the changes were statistically significant. However, the changes in the three years in high school was statistically insignificant. The same results were replicated for the attitude toward the classes. The student-athletes wanted to take classes that deemed necessary for their career as athletes. The instructors put more weight on practices than classes as well as student-athletes. Many of the student-athletes gave up their academic pursuit in the 1st year in high school.
