원가격차의 전략적 분석 방법론: 주파수 렌트의 대용치로서의 원가격차

초록

The effective competition issue caused by spectrum propagation characteristics has been a serious concern among players in the Korean mobile industry. A model for cost difference, however, has not been advanced so far. The study provides a framework with which cost difference among rival firms caused by input characteristics is evaluated strategically and calculated in the context of the Korean mobile industry. Basically. 4 differing types of cost difference between 2 firms may be considered according to the choice of output levels and the choice of cost functions. This study suggests the most appropriate (relevant) cost difference calculation model in the industry and criticizes the approach which is currently being taken. In addition, the cost difference comparison method when more than 2 firms exist are discussed. The study result can be applied in a more general situation.
