디아스포라 지식인의 사유와 무국적 텍스트들의 향방 - 최인훈의 ≪화두≫론 -

초록

Choi In-hun's <Hwa-doo(The Topic)> is the work based on writer's memory of the South and the North Korea, compare to the United States of America and the Soviet Union. As a defected intellectual and the man lives on sense of refugee, he influenced a lot by think of diaspora. Since he have to live whole new life without any of leftover hegemony, it constantly causes create new point of view, and he writes as "Creative Outsider". The literature described many thoughts about diaspora intellectuals, and also embodied stateless texts that continuously affected to him. In this paper, sets <Hwa-doo(The Topic)> as the pilot project for resolutely express his aspects. So that focus the work reconfirm 20th century as imitation and hearsay, at the same time makes readers do adventure ideologically. Specifically saying, telling himself in the end through telling fictions and memories, therefore critically approaching to history of the Korean peninsula. Also compare to the United States of America and the Soviet Union that represent the two prominent systems, makes think of our situation in the world. His keen observation projects his sense of refugee and the writing. <Hwa-doo(The Topic)> eventually, shows us long monotonous process of self healing. Choi In-hun as a diaspora intellectual goes into himself while across the United States of America and the Soviet Union. While analyse his recalls and conquests the 20th century in his way, we can find the way how to understand reality of divisions in the Korean peninsula and the 21th century.
