어반의 창의성 구성 모델을 이용한 창의적 조형미술 교육 연구 - 장 뒤뷔페의 조형적 특성을 중심으로 -

초록

Creativity is often recognized as divergent thinking characterized by originality, flexibility, fluency and sophistication so on. The lively field for promotion of this creativity will be art education. However, in present art education, they ask children to only imagine without understanding creativity. Such stereotyped and wrong teaching methods have resulted in the uniformity of children’s thinking. In addition, plenty of creativity development programs in art are being developed, but the effect is not proved properly so we need to find new point of view. In this study, I made the program to improve creativity by using the characteristics of Jean Dubuffet’s works. Dubuffet showed unique and innovative formative works. Therefore, I judged that it would be helpful for development of children’s creativity by applying his works to art education. I also could catch the aspect to solve the problems of present art education in the characteristics of Dubuffet’s works. For this reason, the creativity development program which used the characteristics of Dubuffet’s works was produced based on creativity composition model of Urban. This creativity composition model considered cognitive and affective factors of creativity helps this creativity program to become more specific and systematic. This program was progressed at art institutions and cultural centers in metropolitan area. As the result, the formative program which applied the characteristics of Jean Dubuffet’s works could improve deficient parts on present art education and the children could be interested in art more and improved a lot their creativity. Thus, I think that the creativity development program which uses the characteristics of Jean Dubuffet’s works was effective in developing the creativity. Furthermore, it is necessary to utilize characteristics of existing art works, apply them to art education for children and teach them. In addition, creativity research which considers each level of children’s development and individual characteristic should be approached systematically and repeatedly and it is expected that children can develop their creativity.
