Advancements in digital technology have significantly impacted healthcare delivery, necessitating greater attention to individuals’ digital health literacy. This study examined how digital health technology literacy influences health empowerment and health-promoting lifestyles among Korean adults. A cross-sectional secondary data analysis was conducted using data from 935 individuals aged 20–59. Digital literacy was assessed using subdomains of functional and critical literacy, alongside validated tools for health empowerment and health-promoting behavior. K-means clustering identified three groups based on literacy levels. Group 3, with high functional and critical literacy, demonstrated the highest levels of health empowerment and health-promoting behaviors. These findings emphasize the importance of recognizing diverse digital literacy patterns and suggest that tailored, person-centered interventions may be necessary to reduce disparities and support health outcomes in the digital age.
