한국과 중국 중학생들이 지각한 학교 분위기, 유능감 및 학교 만족도가 학교적응에 미치는 영향

초록

This study was to examine the differences of Korean and Chinese middle school students on school climate, competence, school satisfaction and school adjustment. It was also to explore influences of school climate, competence and school satisfaction on students' school adjustment by examining multi-group path model for Korean and Chinese students. Results were as follows. Firstly, Chinese students had higher perceived school climate(i.e., accomplishment, recognition, affiliation, and commitment), competence (i.e., cognitive competence), school satisfaction and school adjustment(i.e., relations with other students) than Korean students. Secondly, the influence of school climate on school satisfaction was stronger in Chinese students group than Korean students group. While, the influence of competence on school adjustment was stronger in Korean students group than Chinese students group. And for both Korean and Chinese students, school climate had a direct positive influence on school adjustment, and also significant positive indirect influences on school adjustment through competence and school satisfaction. Results are discussed in relation to ways of improving students’ school adjustment in Korea and China.
