북한이탈주민의평생학습 참여성과와 교육요구에 대한 질적 분석

초록

The increasing needs of lifelong learning for North Korean refugees requires the study of understanding their learning experiences as lifelong learner based on their own perception. For this purpose, this study aimed to identify what is perceived as outcomes and educational needs of North Korean refugees after their participations in lifelong learning programs. In-depth interviews with 7 North Korean refugees were conducted to collect narratives of their experiences and qualitative analysis followed. From the analysis, the study found that they perceive their outcomes of lifelong learning participation as; identity building as North Korean refugees, establishing good relationships in Korea, and exploration of new roles from recovery of self-dignity. Also they perceived educational needs of; quick adaptation and employment in Korea, educations for practical use, and learning based on relationships. These results suggest that lifelong learning opportunities should be provided to enhance their quality of life and to reflect their educational needs.
