이비즈니스 지식기반 사회에서의 가상현실을 활용한 온라인교육 비즈니스 모델에 관한 연구

초록

The key feature of virtual reality technology is its ability to conduct real-time interaction. Recent research show that the methods of virtual reality simulation are used in various educational fields in order to increase the individual participation for active learning. This research examines the changes in studying methods in the e-Business knowledge-based society. We conduct the relevant literature review in order to understand the scope, application areas, related concepts, and key components of virtual reality. We also analyzed the business potential of our virtual reality leveraged online educational model as next generation business model of educational industry by conducting an empirical study using survey method targeted for educational experts. We define the online business model for education using virtual reality and suggest strategic issues of this new model by conducting a SWOT analysis. Current technology trend supports the direction of business model for education by leveraging virtual reality technology.
