문화다양성 증진을 위한 문화예술정책 발전 방안 연구 -무지개다리사업 분석을 중심으로-

It has become essential to facilitate cultural diversity in multicultural society. Particularly how members value cultural diversity is critical to enable social integration. Cultural diversity attitudes of members ensure no individual is excluded or discriminated due to their born identities. Our study explores how to enhance cultural policy by encouraging positive cultural diversity attitude of members. Previous studies have shown that intergroup contacts effectively relate individual cultural diversity attitude. In these regards, we analyzedRainbow Bridge Project 2016, the signature project for cultural diversity, implemented by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in terms of intercultural interaction. We found that most of sub-programs engage majorities or minorities rather than directly mingled participation of both. Also, the kinds of service are delivered through one way where providers and recipients are separate. Considering the purpose of the Project, it should pay more attention to interactive, participative, and inclusive ways for majorities and minorities.
