일제강점기 대구공설수영장에 관한 연구

초록

The study examined the construction, regulation and user in Daegu Public Pool(DPP) to understand the conditions of DPP during Japanese occupation. DPP is the first pool made for citizens in Daegu during summer time. It was the following pool of resort facilities in Incheon Wolmido by Mancheol(만철). However, DPP is different from existing installation that it was the first internal pool directly managed in Daegu City. In other words, DPP brought an opportunity of development of region sports as leisure facilities of Daegu citizens during summer time. Especially, it contributed to settlement and development of leisure culture in region. Also, the research about DPP will now on give an important clue to sports history research in other regions, moreover to Korean leisure history research.
