기사와 악사 - 릴케와 트라클의 ‘카스파 하우저’ 수용 연구
초록
The purpose of this paper is to analyze Kaspar Hauser’s reception methods in the poetry of Rilke and Trakl. Rilke explores the ideal human model pursued by Jugendstil at the turn of the century in Kaspar’s uninhabited wildness. On the other hand, Trakl finds himself unable to adapt to civil society amid the despair, loneliness and panic that Kaspar experienced in the city. For Rilke, Kaspar is the ‘Knight of Jugendstil’, while for Trakl, Kaspar is a self-portrait of ‘poètes maudits.’ While Rilke’s Kaspar is a knight who fights against existing traditions and authority, Trakl’s Kaspar is a minstrel who sings of downfall in deep despair. In conclusion, both poets explore the complex aspects of human existence through Kaspar, but their poetic approaches are different.
