초록

Researchers and donors of human biologic material should know aboutthe harm that could occur because of it’s genetic information. There arethree types of the harm : infringement of privacy, social or economic harm,the harm that is related to the knowledge of one’s own genetic information. In order to make good decision with regard to donation of our geneticinformation, we should also know the probability of the harm. The harmmay not rarely happen because the motivation of using other geneticinformation can be strong. Therefore, we should be careful in decidingdonation of our genetic information. In addition, Bioethics and Safety Actshould be reformed to make researchers explain the harm to donors.
