야구 투수의 구질 파악을 위한 시각탐색패턴과 예측정확성

초록

Participants were instructed to watch three different pitches of pitching motion video clips in 2D project screen. Visual search patterns were analyzed in the eye movement location, number of eye movement and QE(onset, end, duration). Anticipation skill was measured from the choice among the three possibilities (straight ball, curve ball, slider ball) and calculated from the percentage of correct choices. The experimental data were analyzed with an independent t-test. The major results obtained from this study were as follows. First, expert showed that visual behavior patterns were mainly found in glove-head and arm-release areas for anticipating ball pitches from pitching actions. Second, expert shows higher number of eye movement than novice. Third,expert showed faster quiet eye onset and longer quiet eye duration in order to maintain stability of gaze behavior about pitching action. Fourth, expert who have longer quiet eye duration time showed higher anticipation skill than novice.
