FORWARD SELF-SIMILAR SOLUTIONS TO THE p-HARMONIC MAP HEAT FLOW

We study forward self-similar solutions of the p-harmonic map heat flow from R1+1 to the circle S1 . We consider three cases 1 < p < 2, p = 2 and 2 < p < ∞. Solution behaviors are different according to the range of p.
